Contributions of National Journals Referred to WOS to International Position of Serbian Science
Doprinos domaćih časopisa referisanih u WOS međunarodnoj poziciji srpske nauke
Abstract
This paper analyzes the scientific productivity of authors from Serbia and the international position of serbian science. Scientific productivity is measured by the number of publications that are cited in WoS (Web of Science) in the period of 2000- 2012. Emphasizing the articles published in national journals that are referred to WOS, it is analyzed their contribution to the total scientific production in Serbia, which is present in the period of 2000 to 2012. Analysing the international scientific productivity of country it is necessary to take into account the factor of international coverage of national journals in the WoS.
Apstrakt
U radu je analizirana naučna produktivnost autora iz Srbije i međunarodna pozicija srpske nauke. Naučna produktivnost je merena brojem objavljenih radova koji se citiraju u WoS (Web of Science) u periodu od 2000-2012. godine. Izdvajanjem radova objavljenih u časopisima koji su publikovani u Srbiji a koji su referisani u WOS-u, analiziran je njihov doprinos rastu ukupne naučne produktivnosti u Srbiji koja je prisutna u periodu od 2000 do 2012. godine. Analiziranjem naučne međunarodne produk-tivnosti neophodno je uzeti u obzir i faktor međunarodne pokrivenosti nacionalnih časopisa u bazi WOS.
